Pferde unterscheiden sich nicht nur in ihrer Farbe und der Rasse, sondern untereinander auch durch verschiedene Werte, wie Ausdauer und Lebenspunkte. So ist ein Pferd, welches man von einer Weide klaut wesentlich robuster, als eines, das man einer anderen Person abnimmt.
Das wichtigste zwischen einem Pferd und dem Reiter ist das Vertrauen, welches man erst aufbauen muss. So ist ein gerade gefangenes Wildpferd noch recht bockig, wenn man es über eine lÁ¤ngere Distanz treibt und ihm keine Pause gönnt, was schnell damit enden kann, dass der Reiter abgeworfen wird. Da das Pferd mit einem wÁ¤chst, sollte man auf stÁ¤ndige Wechsel des Reittiers verzichten.
Das Vertrauen kann trainiert werden, in dem man mit dem Tier über eine lÁ¤ngere Distanz reitet, ohne dabei in den roten Bereich der Anzeige links neben dem Kompass gerÁ¤t. Mit Á„pfeln, die bei verschiedenen HÁ¤ndlern gekauft werden können, lÁ¤sst sich dieser Kennenlernvorgang noch verschnellern.

- Nightwatch jobs are the icons that look like a sliver of the Moon
- Win at Horseshoes in MacFarlane’s Ranch
- This one took me forever. You need to learn how to throw at about 75% power and release a little over halfway up. It’s tough and will take practice.
- Claim a Bollard Twins Gang bounty alive
- Look in New Austin for these
- Defend resident of Hennigan’s Stead from the Bollard Twins Gang
- Just become super helpful and involved with the townsfolk to get this to work for you
- Purchase at the tailor in Thieves’ Landing

- Search Silent Stead for the hidden Scrap
- This scrap can be found in the abandoned house in Silent Stead. Look for the chest. The house is southwest of Rathskeller Fork

- Claim a Treasure Hunter bounty alive

- Can be found in a chest inside a tent. It’s in a flat area, can’t miss it.

- Claim a Bandito bounty alive
- Found in Escalera, Chuparosa, and El Presidio
- Defend the residents of Mexico from Bandito attacks

Unlocking Procedures:
- Search Sepulcro
- The scrap can be found inside a chest inside the graveyard. Stay on the perimeter to find this.
- Complete the “Poppycock” Stranger’s task
- Must complete “Civilization, at Any Price” first.
- Complete a Horsebreaking job in Chuparosa
- Complete the “Love is the Opiate” Stranger’s task
- Must complete “Empty Promises” and the Stranger mission “Poppycock” first.
- Win at Five Finger Fillet in Torquemada
- Beat three people in a row in a single sitting (be careful of how high your bets are!). I ended up using both my thumbs to do this. Seemed to keep me in better rhythm. Make sure to pay attention to the opponent to see how many times through they go.

Mexican Poncho
Prerequisite: Purchase any safehouse in Mexico
Benefit: Simply a souvenir
Unlock: Found in your Mexican safehouse (will cost you $150 to purchase the house)
US Marshal Uniform
Prerequisite: Can only be attained after “The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed” mission
Benefit: Be treated as part of the law of the US. You won’t be pursued.
Unlock: Complete all US Gang Hideouts in a single 24-hour period (game time, not real time)
Bureau Uniform
Prerequisite: Attain 100% completion of the game
Benefit: The law can’t touch you. No witnesses or local law enforcement. No increase in bounty, no pursuit, no bounty hunters. Nothing. Beautiful immunity.
