This Quest can only be done with Pet Talk, kill Roy and then talk to one of the Animals

– Go to 238 / 261
– Talk to Roy.
– Use keyword “Cattle” to unlock “Slaughter” with each of the animals around him: Doreen & Maurice, Bruce and Timfred.
– QuestLog Update: “Update1”.
– Talk to Doreen & Maurice.
– Use keyword “Slaughter” to unlock “Release” with Roy. She asks for your help.
– QuestLog Update: “Update2”.
– (If you use “Slaughter” with Timfred, he runs off).
– Use keyword “Release”. Roy says he won’t let them go.
Solution A
– Use keyword “Bribe”.
– Quest Choice dialog starts.
– You decide to buy the animals from him.
– (If you refuse to buy the animals, you can still use Solution B or C).
– (If you don’t have enough gold, he says you’re wasting his time. You can talk to him again when you have enough, and use the keyword Release again).
– He leaves, and this unlocks the keyword “New Owner” with Doreen & Maurice, Bruce and Timfred.
– QuestLog Update: “Update3”.
Solution B
– Use Charm/Intimidate and succeed.
– (If you fail, you can still use Solution A or C).
– He leaves, and this unlocks the keyword “New Owner” with Doreen & Maurice, Bruce and Timfred.
– QuestLog Update: “Update3”.
Solution C
– Kill Roy. This unlocks the keyword “New Owner” with Doreen & Maurice, Bruce and Timfred.
– QuestLog Update: “Update3”.
Solution D
This solution becomes available once you use “Cattle” with Roy. From that point on, if you exit the region Luculla Forest before freeing the animals, they will be delivered and killed.
– After usingkeyword “Cattle” with Roy, region swap.
– The quest is completed.
– QuestLog Update: “Update4”.
Dialogue changes
– You can talk to the immaculate teacher in Sacred Stone and he tells you he sacrificed the new batch of animals, but the rabbit got away.

– Talk to Doreen & Maurice.
– Use keyword “New Owner”.
– Quest Choice dialog starts.
Solution A
– You decide the animals should go back to Cyseal.
– Doreen, Maurice and Bruce walk away towards Cyseal; Timfred, if he’s still here, runs off on his own, and the quest is completed.
– QuestLog Update: “Update5”.
Dialogue changes
– You can talk to the animals back in Cyseal, and they will thank you again, and tell you about their new life.
Consequences/Rewards
– You can talk to Timfred in the Troll King’s cave, and he will help you distract the guards, as part of the quest “The Troll King”.
– You can talk to Doreen in Cyseal, and she will reveal the location of a buried treasure in Cyseal.
Solution B
– You decide the animals should go try to reach the legendary farmlands.
– Doreen, Maurice and Bruce walk away towards Deepspire; Timfred, if he’s still here, runs off on his own, and the quest is completed.
– QuestLog Update: “Update6”.
Dialogue changes
– You can talk to the animals in the Dark Forest, and they will thank you again, and tell you about their new life.
Consequences/Rewards
– You can talk to Timfred in the Troll King’s cave, and he will help you distract the guards, as part of the quest “The Troll King”.
– You can talk to Doreen in Dark Forest, and she will reveal the location of a buried treasure in Dark Forest.
